Story Scripts

Each item this year is a story. For each story a choir member will tell the audience about the story. Here are a couple of examples.

Great works of art are not completed in a day. And so it is with us. It takes time to fit all the little pieces together  to make us complete and we do this as we grow. Jessie J believes that those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind because they take us the way we are. We are all working on our very own masterpiece.

When we daydream, we all go to our happy place, where dreams come true just by wishing on a star. In the back of our minds we all have our own wonderful world. It might be in a forest full of butterflies, in a world of candyfloss or perhaps somewhere over the rainbow.

Here is the intro for Gold.
Hawthorndene:
In the beginning, a bridge was built. At one end of the bridge, a large group of children began to sing. The song had a catchy vibe to it.
South Hornby:
A small group of children at the other end heard the song and began to sing along. Soon the groups became one in the middle of the bridge.
Hawthorndene:
The bridge is known as Music Count Us In. It was built out of hope.
South Hornby:
It was built to carry the dreams of these young people, to come together and share a love of music.

Hawthorndene and South Hornby: What we’ve got is GOLD.
